Collection Blog Part 5
Moving right along to the next part of my collection series. You can go to my last entry here & then from there is up to you. My installment today will take us into my collection of Jedi including Yoda and Obi-Wan.

Before I do. I want to share a couple of videos I did over the weekend. Not great quality coming from my phone and I my awkwardness of doing something like this makes it even more difficult to watch. So if you enjoy someone making a fool of themselves ......you are a sick #######. Kidding, just go to the links below.

I started rearranging my "room" this weekend.
It was kicked off by starting to hang my ships rather than taking up shelf space. Next I need to figure out how I will display everything else on said shelving. Logically I should have more space, but I have a tendency to defy all logic at times. Just ask my wife. Speaking of....she would probably kill me if she knew I was showing any part that room in it's current condition. I was soon sidetracked into making repairs to the ships before I hung them.

On the first one you will hear my little girl, who not knowing what I was doing and apparently thinking her old man was losing it, ask why I was talking to myself. She's a hoot. I'll have to post a video I did of her as well sometime. As I was in the middle of it I let her play with some of my toys which is a rare occasion that she has always wanted to do. In doing so I couldn't help but pull my phone out and film it. The problem is that it is 16 min long, so I don't know if I should subject anyone to that. Hopefully the links work. Electronics have been a might bit troublesome today for some reason.

Now to my collection. I haven't too many of the other Jedi but I have bought few here and there. In this picture you'll see Qui-Gon from TPM com tech as well as a Mace of the same, the Qui-Gon hallmark ornament, and the 12" Qui-Gon. I have a youngling that came with one of the Yodas to be shown. From ROTS I have two Mace figures. One with and one without lightning. Also are two of the jedi from the clone wars cartoon. The buff Kit Fisto and the always lovely but hard to stand up Aayla Secura. Also in view are some Yoda postage stamps.

Next picture is theEvolutions Jedi Legacy pack. The Luke looks so bad in this one. Just when I thought they were getting better at capturing some of the likenesses.

Now let's move to Obi-Wan. Here we can see most of them. Young and old versions are here. A Hallmark ornament, a BK toy, and a die cast Jedi Starfighter. Here we have another view in which you can see non blue ghost version put out a few years ago.

Here is a view of my two vintage Obi-Wan's. The one without the cape is my original. It's lightsaber is a replica.

Here is the McQuarrie concept Obi-Wan & Yoda.

In this pic I have the Jedi Spirits set as well as the mail order Obi-Wan spirit.

Now going to Yoda I have my vintage figure. I used to have another one that I can't seem to find. What you see here is a mix of the two. The figure is the original that had the brown snake but most of his accessories have been lost. I put together one complete figure with what I had.
Also shown is the Hallmark Ornament. I could not find it anywhere in Memphis at the time. My wifes brother found one in Las Vegas and gave it to me for Christmas that year.

This picture is of various PT versions. Missing is one that goes with a droid factory set that had magnets under the floor to attack a super battle droid. As well as Santa Yoda.

These are a couple of unopened Yodas. One is one of the few that have actual hair attached.

Here I have a vintage vinyl Yoda Puppet.

This is a composite photo of the Burger King Yoda toy doing it's back flip action. It took several shots to get all the ones needed to make this look like it does.

Of my two vintage Star Wars costumes as a kid this is the only one I still have. The other was a C-3P0. I have bugged my mom forever to try to find pictures of me in the costumes that I know they have somewhere, but to no avail. I think this is one of my cooler and slightly oddball treasures.

Here is my vintage Dagobah playset that after being in my parents attic for many years like many other toys is in not so good a condition these days. Not to mention some missing pieces.

Another View showing the other side.

Last as a lead in to my next blog Is My Luke carrying Yoda that you saw in it's alternate form in the Dagobah playset pic. I should have shown with it the power of the force musclebound Luke with Yoda on his back. It can be seen in one of the other pictures above. Also in another shot you can see the Luke & Yoda Hallmark Ornament from last year.

So next you guessed it will be Luke figures as well Leia, Padme & Shmi. I should have it up in the next couple of days, time permitting. Hope to see you then.
