Well, it's Sunday morning, and for the first time in months, I'm free to blog!
Try not to look so disappointed, now.
I apologize for my protracted absence. After Celebration IV, I promised myself I was going to postpone blogging until I had enough time to write up a proper summary of the event. And, unfortunately, I
never had enough time -- not until long after Celebration had faded from everyone's immediate attention!
But, in any case, it was marvelous to meet everyone "in real life". (I employ open quotation marks because I suspect that our internet community constitutes a truer existence than weird, unpredictable reality.) I won't try to express my affection for all of you, because I would sound maudlin or insincere. But what a party we had!
Now that I've returned to the Blogosphere (I hope for good!), I solemnly swear to keep up with all of my friends' journals. Hold me to that promise, or I'll slip again!
I've cleaned out many of the update or discussion-type entries from my archive; come to think of it, I'll probably delete
this entry after a while. Incidentally, I am now a registered member of TheForce.net, as well as DeviantArt.com and Wookieepedia. That means...let me work my calculator...wow, I'm currently annoying
at least three times as many internet users as I did when I restricted myself to StarWars.com!
Anywho, happy to be back -- and I don't plan on disappearing again anytime soon. Merry Christmas and happy holidays, everyone, and expect a regular entry sometime in the upcoming weeks.
Force be,
~The Admiral
