I've just started playing Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II again and I noticed that it is one of the few Star Wars games I've played that has a very good story. The story really develops the characters and brings a new level of enjoyment to the game. I love how the cutscenes were actually done with actors and actresses, you never see this in other games and I think it added a lot to the story. No offense to Outcast and Academy, but niether of them had a very engaging story line, this didn't prevent me from enjoying them but it certainly took away from them.

The other Star Wars game with such a great story line is one you can probably guess... yes you got it it's Knights of the Old Republic. This was more expected since KotOR is an RPG, but it was still just as good. Despite KotOR great fighting mechanics it would be nothing without the story line. It has great character development and some of the biggest suprises in all of Star Wars

I'd love to see some new Star Wars games with stories like DF2 or KotOR just because graphics and game mechanics are getting so much better dosn't mean story can just be dropped.
