It's been a while since my last "Perspective" blog. But now I'm back in the mood and ready to disco dance! [didn't want to use a common phrase

] But who better to write a comeback Perspective blog about than Mr. George Lucas himself?
George Lucas has created some of cinema's finest masterpieces; from
Star Wars, to
Indiana Jones co-directed by Spielberg, to
American Graffiti, and beyond.
He has recently engulfed himself in the new and much anticipated
Clone Wars series, more than, as it was said, the workers of CW originally suspected he would. Can you imagine how brilliant the
Clone Wars was going to be to begin with? Now, can you imagine how mind-boggling it will be now that the almighty "Father of the Force" is blessing it with his SW know-how and expertise? WOW!!!!!!! I swear, I'll need to be wearing three pairs of underwear while I watch it!
And lets not forget how many brilliant books have been made because of his famous idea, dated all the way back to 1977. For instance: Matthew Stover's
Revenge of the Sith has become a phenomonal hit to all Star Wars fans. And lets not forget the hilarious and peppy-little-devil
Yoda: Dark Rendezvous [one of my all-time favorites]. And, of course, the
Young Jedi Knight series has become too popular for words. And at the end, but in no way least important, the
Jedi Apprentice and
Jedi Quest series by Jude Watson; a fantastic series for all the kiddies of Star Wars. I, too, find myself entertained by these elemnetary-level books, even at thirteen.
And the list stretches on and on. Also, credit must be given to the Star Wars encyclopedia; terrific for someone who wants the facts given to 'em straight.
I could go on and on about how much Star Wars has changed cinema and literature, and how GL is to thank for all of it.
My perspective of him is that he's a trustworthy man whose imagination stretches far beyond what can be tought. He made everything up himself. His ideas are original. He is a hard worker and a good friend. This is why, I would guess, that Steven Spielberg the Great

is his friend.
In other news: George Lucas is sixty-three years old. He has won a
Lifetime Achievement Award in 2005. He has been named the "
100th Greates Person" by the Discovery Channel. He is currently working on the fourth installment of Indiana Jones, titled, "
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull".
I would love to hear your comments! Goodnight Linda!
