In my early years of teaching I LOVED Halloween. I would spend the weeks building up to the fun-filled day dedicating all of my extra time and resources to the perfect costume.
Then, I had kids.
I no longer cared about preparing a costume for myself; I put all of my energy and enthusiasm into theirs precious little outfits. Now, they've gotten to the age where they like to work on their own costumes and they want me to dress up too. Since I've just returned to my teaching gig, I have no excuse for not donning a costume of some sort, other than I no longer have the kind of time or finances to focus on creating that perfect Halloween costume for myself.
I really, really, wanted to dress as Zam Wessel this year, since I found a funky little 'Zam' like hat, but I'm having a hard time finding the other pieces to complete the costume. I don't have the time, or the patience to sew the costume, so I guess Zam is out for this year. Zam it anyways!! The hat may end up being my entire costume this year. Who knows?

Now my question for you is...
(Drum roll please.)
Do you have any interesting Star Wars related costume stories that you would care to share?
I'd love to hear from you. Don't be shy!
Oh, and thanks for stopping by.

(Aw, that rhymed. Am I talented or what?)
