A real life Star Wars.
Hi everyone. Sorry i havent been on for a while.

The other day i was thinking about how star wars is somewhat related to real life.
I came up with only two big idea,
POLITICS
IRAQUI WAR

I will try and stay as neutral as possible with this whole concept.
I have realized that this whole Iraq war kind of is the like the clone wars, the U.S. as the Republic of course and the Iraqui's as the CIS. Im sure you are all aware of how the U.N. is gathering other country's to its aid [ at least i think that's what its like ]. Somewhat like the CIS, Confederate independent systems.
Its like Binladin is the General Grievous and the U.S. intelligence program is searching for him waiting to end the war.
Another similarity is thatsome people are against the war and some people are neutral and others are all for it. In this case the jedi would be neutral. Others like Palps are all for it.

Now, onto politics.
We are all aware that there is a smaller war going on between the Democrat and the Republican parties. This is similiar to what happened in the sw senate during the clone wars. The senate argued with each other from inside so much that they became weak from the inside.

This is a part that starts to scare me. What if in the next 3-4 years the same thing happens to the U.S. that happened in sw.

Being a conservative republican doesnt mean im all for the war, i would be with the jedi and be neutral, i dont like the war and that our troops are being shot but its some that had to be done and i think my fellow reps out there feel the same way.
There's only one way i see we can win this war in a quicker movement.
The Republicans and the Democrats have to put their differences aside and discuss what should be done.

So here's my question, will this possibly play out like the Star Wars story in the end? Or will it be more darker than that?

Any sort of comments are welcome. Possitive, Neutral, or Negative.

I have some very strong views on the nature of the USA today. I am an Army veteran and my brother fought in this current conflict (he's home and safe now). My only real comment to you is to keep your mind open and think for yourself. Fear is the path to the Dark Side. Its all too easy to paint people and 'sides' with a broad stroke (or a fantasy film like Star Wars), which only has the effect of obscuring some very complicated and important details. You must be cautious.

I'll say this... there are some very dark forces at play in both sides of this conflict. Be it the Iraq War, which is I believe a wholly imperial venture, or the "war on terror"... both sides have heroes. The guy who is pissed off about American meddling in the affairs of his homeland strapping a bomb to his chest and blasting soldiers in Iraq has desires and fears just the same as the young American youth who signed on to military service. There are people on both sides more than willing to dispense with liberty and justice to serve their ends. Always look beyond the veneer that people put on... especially politicians and idealogues.

I recently wrote a summary. I mentioned how the bi-partisan Congress is suppose to show the unity the U.S has. I even used the Star Wars phase from EP.3- All those who have power are afraid to lose it. We must not be blind.
