The time has come to once again grace everyone with my presence for the greater good of the galaxy. And I also bring you good tidings of great joy. Things have now been worked out which allow me, to grace you all with new musings weekly. I must apologize that I have not been able to do this before, but the work of an Imperial is hard and time consuming. But rest assured that just as the picture shows, I will Strike Back swiftly and justly wiping out Rebel Spin wherever it is to be found.
I have no real order of business today but to spend time with those of you who tune in to get a break from the endless fawnings over the New Republic that all forms of media seem to be full of these days. The simple fact of the matter is that with the release of Episode III, there seems to be just a little bit more respect for the Empire by the public at large. A new insight into how an unassuming, mild-mannered Senator from Naboo held within him a secret of incredible power, and equally incredible insight. Insight into how the Republic was hardly a shadow of what it once was and that, for the greater good, had to replace inept leadership with his own, create a war within the galaxy, and in the end bring about a new order that was designed to bring about peace and prosperity to all within it. Yet Emperor Palpatine was no fool, he knew that he would need symbols of superiority to get across to the Rebel Terrorists that he would tolerate no threats to his beautiful Empire and thus brought about Darth Vader and the Death Star. That's not to disqualify Grand Moff Tarkin, a man whose genius was only surpassed by his sense of duty to eliminating the Rebel Threat once and for all. A pity that the planet of Alderaan had to be sacrificed, but an even greater pity that it had become completely lawless and twisted by the Rebellion. In the end, it brought about it's own destruction. Princess Leia proved that point.
I suppose I could go on to say how she willingly condemned her own homeplanet and everyone and everything she ever knew to the Death Star's superlaser of justice by
lying to Grand Moff Tarkin and Darth Vader about the location of the hidden rebel base. But then, Leia was hopelessly corrupted by rebel propaganda, even to the point where she favored the Rebels over her own home planet. A true pity indeed she allowed Alderaan to meet it's end in such a way. Perhaps that's why even Ben Kenobi felt a cringe in his old heart. He knew Leia had done something awful. I could go on, but there is simply so much more to tell with so little time in which to do it. Another pity that I must leave. However, I do leave the door open to comments from everyone about what I am doing with this blog. Love it? Let me know. Hate it? Well you're wrong and I'm right, but I'll gladly show you where you are wrong so you can see the greatness of it all. With that said, May the Emperor smile upon you and yours and the blessings of the Empire be upon you.
