So I'm watching TPM, and I get to the part on the platform on Coruscant where Ani checks with Qui-Gon before going off with Padme. I started thinking about what Padme later said in AOTC "I won't let you give up your future for me." I'm not sure Anakin was really conflicted about whether to go with the Jedi or Padme when he was on the platform. He probably just wanted to make sure it was okay to go with Padme. Still though, isn't it interesting to think about - him having to choose between Padme and the Order? Figuring out which path to take? Nice little forshadowing there. Just a thought. MTFBWY!
