While looking at my current desktop picture, Ahsoka (from the fankit desktop wallpapers), a thought occurred to me: how old is she? Most Jedi hopefuls have to get a master by age 13 or they're sent to the Agricultural Corps. This would either indicate that A) Ahsoka is only 13, or B) Ahsoka must have had a former master who died. Now, I don't think she looks 13 at. Call me crazy, but I don't. It could be because in the clips I've seen of her, she's both confident and rather feisty and I guess that makes her seem older. My friend - not a SW fan, btw - thinks she looks between 19 and 22. But that's kind of impossible because that's about how old Anakin was during the Clone Wars. I'd say more like 16 or so. It's just really hard to tell, especially since everyone . . . matures . . . at different ages. I think the other thing that throws me off is her height (her legs are reeeeeaaaaally long!), but that could just be the animation. Also the creases in her cheeks make her seem much older. So what do you think? Any theories and/or guesses about her age/past?

Secondly, I've been thinking about Anakin just getting dumped with a padawan all of a sudden. That would be kind of . . . intimidating. At least for me. But I think his problem will be more of a "Great, there goes my freedom. Now I have a stupid kid to look out for," kind of thing. I think it will be absolutely hilarious if what bugs him most about her happens to be the ways she's like him. That's the way it is with my guy friend is his little sister who is much younger and wants to be just like him. Then Obi-Wan can step in and be like, "Hey, this is what I've had to deal with - have fun!" It should definitely be interesting. That's all for now!

EDIT: I'm also very curious to see Padme's reactions to this. What will she say when Anakin tells her about Ahsoka? Will she laugh and say "Have fun, and I know this will be a great learning experience!" Will she think, "Wow, I guess Yoda fell out of his hover chair and hit his head again . . . ." I'm soooo curious!!
