My Inner Luminous Being Is Typing This While I'm Studying.....
So good bein' home! ;)

I had some blogs in the works, but they just weren't very....interesting. So I'm working on another one now, and hopefully it'll turn out better! However, I did want to drop in and say a few things.

1) With all the Indy madness going around, I finally decided to go watch the movies. Yep, you heard right - I've never seen them!

:O *certain bloggers faint* :O

Well, that's only partially true. I've seen part of Raiders of the Lost Ark before, but it was when I was pretty little, and I only remember bits and pieces. Mostly my dad telling me to close my eyes when they opened the ark, and then peeking. ]:)

Also, I think I saw a clip or two of Temple of Doom, but that was very, very brief.

Anyway, I watched Raiders of the Lost Ark on Saturday night, and I gotta say, it was pretty darn good! It was especially fun to see how my memories lined up with the movie. :) Also, I was able to predict a few of the scenes because when I went to Disney World back in April, we went to see the Indiana Jones stunt show thing, which was a blast.

The only thing I had an issue with was the "love theme" I guess. The first part sounds almost exactly the same as Han and Leia's!! I wasn't overly annoyed though - it was sort of hilarious in a way. ;)

I'm hoping to watch the other two movies this week....we'll see..... Not sure when I'll get around to seeing the new one. I'm definitely looking forward to the Lego game though!! :D

2) My friend's little sister invited me to her 50's themed b-day party last Saturday. It was really well done, and they had this great idea to use old record cases as place mats. Friend's Sis even tried to match them to her guests! Now, both Friend and Friend's Sis have heard me ramble on about Star Wars on more than one occasion, so lo and behold, what record case should appear at my place but the soundtrack of my favorite Star Wars movie!!!! :D :D :D Guesses? Anyone? Anyone at all?

That's right - she used the ESB soundtrack case. :D :D :D I felt so loved!! And she didn't even know that one was my favorite! I went home with both the case (we could keep them) and this stupid grin that all fanboys and fangirls know very well. :D

3) I might possibly be having a Star Wars marathon with a friend who has only seen ANH....yay!

4) Remember the little girl at my church who I'm trying to indoctrinate with Star Wars? Well I'm hoping that her parents will let me show her the movies later this summer. She'll turn 5 in October, and she's really smart for her age. If she's anything like me (which she totally is - it's scary! But I love it!), she'll love them just as much as I do! :D It's all going to depend on her parents though - I'm not sure what her mom will think about the effect of blasters and lightsabers on her child. But what do you guys think? Is she still going to be too young to get the full weight and shock value of DV being Luke's father? You guys who saw the OT back in the 70's and 80's - how old were you? If you could go back and change your age, what would you change it to? I just want this to work as perfectly as possible! :)

Sooooo basically, besides dreading two huge tests tomorrow, I am one happy girl right now! :D

MTFBWY all,
Jade

P.S. I've also been teaching my friends the fine art of squeeing....:D
