"No money, No celebration, NO FUN!"
With C:IV just 3 weeks away, my bank account's digits are slowly but surely increasing. Its kinda hard though since Wave 1 and Wave 2 and so forth of "The Anniversary Collection" had just been released so my love of Star Wars toy collecting had resurfaced this year and that doesn't make it any easier to save up.:p

Fortunately this week will be my last for the Spring semester, WOOHOO! College students! (3 more Math exams and i'm done!:D) Today I came back to working at my part-time job (FYI I do maintenance work and book reservations at lodge resort up at Lake Tahoe, CA) and it felt great! I just know when I wake up hours later my muscles will be sore from all the heavy lifting but so what? I'm sure i'll be able to log in a lot more hours just before C:IV which will make me worry free about spending $$$.

Oh yeah, I've also been saving up quarters, nickels and dimes since last October when I first heard of C:IV, I keep 'em in my AOTC tin coin bank and I have yet to put 'em in a change machine to convert it all into cash.

Honestly I took quite a gamble with deciding to go to C:IV. Yep, just like Han Solo not paying Jabba his debt before leaving to transport a farmboy, some "old fossil" and two droids on what will be their greatest adventure yet, will also be mine in 3 weeks!

From purchasing my 4-day badge to booking a rental car and putting in a reservation at a motel in L.A. I didn't even have the sufficient funds or should I say, I barely had ANY money at all! Yeah, I know I am crazy. But I'd go nuts if I would allow this special occassion to slip thru my fingers. C'mon! Its the 30th Anniversary of Star Wars! I've never even been to any "Celebration" before nor have I been to any fan convention, EVER! So I knew this was it as Uncle George himself had said something to the effect of "by hook or by crook i'm going to make this movie." Well same goes with me being determined to make it to Los Angeles to experience this special event and live to tell the tale years later.:)

Thank God for my lovely gf who was willing to pay for it first then i'd just pay her back whenever I can and my awesome Mom who pitched in $100 to help out. They know how important and special attending C:IV is for me. I want to do something nice for my Mom for "Mother's Day" and for my gf too who will be graduating on the 18th of this month from the nursing program at the local community college I attend. CONGRATULATIONS to My JULIE ANNE!:D

Well yeah, that's just a little something I thought i'd like to share with everyone else. I know i'll be broke right after C:IV but the experience will be worth every credit, err... penny.;)
