A long, long time ago... I was born!
Happy Birthday to me! I am now 23!:D

I know its been awhile since I last wrote anything, man, looking at my last entry it was even before C:IV! Now I know I slacked off on writing something for my first CON experience, EVER! But I will make up for it before the end of the year, I promise!.:D

For those of you who may actually be interested, I was born on 11/28/1984 in Quezon City, Manila, Philippines! I migrated here to the states seven years ago in May and life has been an exciting adventure much like Luke Skywalker's and his Father before him, Anakin when they were "stuck" to living a mundane life on Tatooine, all of a sudden a new journey filled with excitement was thrust upon to them.

I've been a fan of all things cinema for as long as I can remember. Of course a HUGE fan of the Star Wars Saga. I remember my uncle who gave me a BETAMAX copy of Return of the Jedi and how i'd watch it with my brother and cousins so many times in a week! I have vivid memories of going to see Episode I back in the Philippines and my excitement and "aftershock" after seeing the film. I was 14 then I thought it was the best Star Wars yet! Then when Episode II came I was a Sophomore in High School and I already planned out my year, I didn't miss any days in school except of course when Episode II premiered, I was (unfortunately) all by myself at the time and was in line. After the first premiere in town I was interviewed for the local news program on "Why I ditched school to see Star Wars" Episode III came and I introduced my girlfriend to everything Star Wars! I had her watch Episode I, II, then III at the first screening in town then IV, V and VI on DVD and she likes them and I absolutely love it when she asks me "Who is this? Who is that? Why does he do that? Etc. etc. though she has yet to come along with me for CELEBRATION V!:D

It is my dream to be able to direct films of various genres. While BIG Hollywood blockbusters are what intrerest me, there is something about those "small" Independent films that is very appealing. George Lucas has been someone to look up to and so has his best bud, Steven Spielberg!

Right now i'm currently directing my second theatrical production, i've dabbled in a few films both in front of and behind the camera and I have yet many things to accomplish as far as my passion for everything film, directing, acting and producing.

Although I have a long way to go I am determined to get there. After all, George came from very humble beginnings and so did Luke.

So this morning I got The Star Wars Vault from my lovely girlfriend. It was only $50 at Costco! The Hallmark"A long, long time ago" musical card from the parents with a little cash in it and "The Adventures of Indiana Jones" DVD boxed set from my brother.

Now I may yet be able to purchase the "The Battle on Hoth" Ultimate Battlepack since I do have extra $$$;)

I wonder what else the day has in store for me.:)
