So I just got home from Wal*Mart and picked up my DVD copy of "Fanboys" Yes, I can finally see this movie! I've been to C:IV, saw all the trailers and despite the limited theatrical release it never came to "The Biggest Little City in the World" (Reno) What gives!? Oh well, at least now I can enjoy it on DVD! Though the tech geek in me wishes they would have released a Blu-ray version as well, bah, that can follow later.

I also watched Episode I on DVD last night which I started around 10pm with my gf who unfortunately dozed off since she was so exhausted from work and I ended up finishing the movie around a little after 12am which was perfect since it was already 5/19!

After 10 years, this movie is still great! Yes, it is different in tone from Episode II and III but you gotta admit, this movie did set the bar "technically" for so many that followed later. Man, the action scenes are still great! Jar Jar never ever seemed to annoy me, in fact, I think he's hilarious! The podrace is as awesome as ever and the 3 way lightsaber duel aka "Duel of the Fates" don't even get me started on that one.

And now I'm off to watch the masterpiece that is, "Fanboys"
