This is an ongoing effort of the greater good to blog about
nothing. Let's talk about
chat slang (lingo) and address links. Why did I pick this topic? Well, because I felt like it and I have no other ideas at the moment (
much ado about nothing). Besides, I'm always in pursuit at SW.com for a higher education at Bloggers University (
IMHO).
I will be the first to admit that I have been a little clueless to all of this new chat slang and techno stuff. Not so long ago, I use to be able to slang with the best of them. Fast forward 20 something years later and here I am...Dumbfounded and overwhelmed with all of this new and improved lingo and address links of the technology world. I
never thought this day would happen to me, but it did. And if you think it will
never happen to you, you are dead wrong...Never say never!
Part of my problem in lagging behind the times was that I
never owned a computer, until now. You see, I have a thing about technology. It's not that I'm afraid of it. I just don't have the patience for it. So I sat and waited until all the technological problems were resolved before buying my first computer. Yep, you got it. Before I jumped on the bandwagon, I let all of you do the dirty work of whipping the technology world into shape -
TYVM. I call this theory, working smarter, not harder and saving pennies.
Anyway, I am now a proud owner of a
SOTA Dell computer with a lovely keyboard, which "Trigger" really likes to play on and make a mess of things. Since I seem to be getting my
groove back, I thought I would create a
Lingo Roll for the
Lingo
Impaired
Participants of
SW.com (like me).
BTW, there are more than what I have listed here. It would be a real
PITA to list them all and this blog would go to infinity and beyond.
