I pondered the thought of writing my CELE-DORK-TION IV blog (Thanks Rog for that one

) and make you drool with envy about how I got Carrie Fisher's autograph or about how I got to meet so many wonderful people, but realized there is a more pressing item to blog about.
Don't worry, I'll come back to my CeleDORKtion IV blog shortly...
{ahem}...
I've been away from the blogs for a couple of weeks now. Mostly due to the fact that I have been very, very busy and I had to prepare for my trip to CeleDORKtion IV.

I finally found time, today, to visit Star Wars.com, hoping to read some blogs, when I noticed that things have changed in these parts. Steve Sansweet wasn't kidding when he announced at opening ceremonies for CeleDORKtion IV that hyperspace has a new look.
Lost in Hyperspace....
echo.echo.echo....
My first reaction to the changes in these parts? Shock and disbelief, followed by a panic-stricken-feeling of, "how the hell do I get to the blogs from here?" That pretty much set the tone for me. I'm not afraid to admit that I'm blond, in the truest sense, I'm sure you've all seen pictures of me by now or have met me from CeleDORKtion IV, therefore being that I'm blond, I don't adapt to change very well. That is a given theory for any blond. Needless to say, you can image the reaction on my face when I typed in the URL to Star Wars.com only to discover that my beloved site has taken a topsy-turvy regarding its appearance.
Don't take me wrong, I love a makeover. I've gone through a few of those myself. But, I never jumped in without thoroughly researching and planning each new look before doing it, making sure that the end result was fully functional and operational, from all points of view.
I'd be a hypercritic if I told you that I didn't like some of the changes around here. In reality, I think they're awfully shiny and pretty, especially the image of Coruscant. That being said, if things aren't spelled out for me or if I don't have precise directions, I'm most likely going to end up clicking all over the place until I get a Lost in Hyperspace.
"Patience. You must learn patience."
Pfft...Did I mention that *I* don't have patience? I've lost my CeleDORKtion IV Zen. I need a happy pill. Think I'll go pop in a Star Wars movie or maybe find me some of that Skywalker wine to drink.
