What is Star Wars ? Movies ? Stories ? Books? Toys? yes, yes, yes and yes.... but it is more then that. Like the great Greek tragedies it is this generation's Hero and Villian Mythology, it takes us back in time and far away. It shows us in subtle and obvious ways that no matter our means, history, origin or religion that we are all connected in ways we may never have imagined. It opens us up to possibility, it moves us, it keeps us still and makes us grow. Also it influences the technologies and aspirations we have and use.

It is a retrospect and a forward thought. It is a flashback and a peek into the future. It is a story, but a story for all we know has been told and lived somewhere amongst the billions and trillions of galaxies that are scattered across a Universe so broad, so large, so unimaginable that we are forced to acknowledge design and thought.

When I look up at the sky at night, when I pose questions to myself about the places I will never see, the moons and stars that other beings gaze upon 100 million light years away, and in some cases places so far away that the light cannot reach us.

Indeed Star Wars takes us to that place and tells us the story of those beings who imagine as we do what is possible and what is not, or what is here or there as we connect thru the same hopes, dreams and aspirations.

Oh yes. Star Wars is so much more then that.
