As promised I have come up with some well though out answers to questions posed by some of you last week. I had some fun doing this and I hope you get some amusement out of my responses.

First up, though, I have some small matters to get out of the way, first.

Last week I was thrilled to be able to spend some time with jediprincess77 at Chicago's 11th Annual Celtic Fest. As most of you know, JP77 is a wonderful person and I had a great time hanging out with her. I'm an Irish American and she is Scottish American and there was plenty of stuff for both of us to enjoy. Celts know how to have fun!

Second, yesterday, September 22nd, was the 18th anniversary of the passing of my Mom.... I just wanted to acknowledge what an amazing Mom I had (have) and I wanted to remind each and everyone of you out there to give your Moms a great big hug and kiss. They make more sacrifices on our behalf than we will ever know and they love us more than we can ever truly appreciate.

I love you, Mom.

Lastly, September 25th is Mark Hamill's birthday and I always take time out on the blogs to wish him all the best.....

I prefer the young Anakin. He just makes more sense to me than old Anakin did. I know it's controversial, but that's how I feel. I'm pleased the change was made.

"What do you think of the Special Edition in general"

I assume you're asking about the whole OT? I've always liked them. I didn't like Luke squealing as he fell down the shaft in Bespin.... but that's the only real complaint I ever had and it's been put back the way it was originally since the release of the SE, so it's all good.

"Coke or Pepsi?"

Caffeine Free Diet Coke (caffeine gives me headaches.... )

"When travelling (in the continental United States) do you prefer to fly or drive to take in the sights?"

I love to fly.... but I also love to drive. It's a toss up. When I was growing up, my parents and I took a summer long car ride throughout much of the US and I loved it. I played "tour guide" in the back seat... cracked my folks up....

"What do you think you'd be doing right now if Star Wars didn't exist?"

I'd be rolling in dough! Feeding my SW addiction has cost me plenty over the last 30 years.....

I have a SW Celebration 3 lanyard, a replica of the One Ring from LOTR, a little stuffed Pug, and Sacred Heart of Jesus badge, my car alarm remote.... and keys!

My new favorite would be dark chocolate with hazelnuts from Ritter Sport.

Movie wise, I love LOTR, Harry Potter, any good scifi or fantasy really. As for TV, I love Doctor Who, Lost, Heroes, Supernatural, Monk (doesn't really fit, does it? I love it anyway... makes me laugh ), The X-Files, Farscape. I also love to read. Fantasy and SW mostly, but also Shakespeare, Church history, medieval and Irish history. Eclectic, huh?

"What's your favorite SW movie and why?"

A New Hope. It was my first way back in '77 and it kicked off this whole life pursuit/obsession of mine.

"What's your favorite SW soundtrack/song?"

Overall, my favorite SW soundtrack is ROTS, but my favorite song is "Luke & Leia" from ROTJ. It's just a beautifully written piece of music. John Williams is a genius.

I'd say Mace. He wasn't perfect, but he's who I'd want to train me (if Obi-Wan wasn't free....). He lasted much longer against Palps than Kit Fisto did, too.

"Was Palpatine brilliant or the Jedi just blind?"

I really hate to Jedi bash.... but I think they did have blinders on to some extent. Was Palpatine brilliant? I think he was lucky.... and very charismatic..... a lethal combination in someone so evil.

"What color should Force lightning really be?"

Kind of bluish, which is how it is in the movies, right?

"Who is your favorite bad guy of all time in the GFFA in any era"

Darth Vader.

"Tatooine or Geonosis?"

I hate heat... some choices..... Tatooine I 'spose.

Hoth!! Use that body heat, ya know.....

I love Qui-Gon and I think he was an awesome Jedi. I mean, look how well Obi-Wan turned out?! Qui-Gon rocks.

Alas, I have only one Pug...... but my love comes from my Pug. He was a gift from an old boyfriend years ago. I wanted a Bulldog, but they weigh too much for my condo (rules, ya know) so my guy suggested a Pug. I had no idea what they looked like, so I had to look 'em up! One look at the little smushy face and I was in love.
