Randomness......
So, I'm just sitting here at my part time job at the Irish shop passing out candy and cheer (well, candy for sure.... ;)) so I decided to do a little blogging. How lucky for you! :^O

I'm sort of in costume today.... I'm wearing my geekiest SW fan tee shirt and a necklace of skulls and bones that I managed to smuggle out of the rancor pit.... Hey, I try.... :p

Tonight I've got my sister coming over with her kids for some Trick-or-Treating and then I'm going to settle in to watch an all night live ghost hunt on the SciFi channel! WaHooo!!!!! :D Maybe some of you know of the Ghost Hunters? I love the show.... it's one of my favorites. The group is actually called TAPS (The Atlantic Paranormal Society) and they're out of Rhode Island. The guys who run it are plumbers by day, paranormal investigators by night. And, they are really cool guys... I should know because I got to meet them earlier this month. Got autographs and piccies and everything! I can be such a geeky fangirl...... B-)

I wonder if anyone out there has ever had a paranormal experience?

Anyone?? ?:|

Okay, I'll start.... I actually did have an experience a number of years ago shortly after the death of my Mom. I won't go into details here... it's still kind of personal. Only a chosen few have heard it. Maybe someday I'll be in more of a mood to share. Of course, it's probably not too hard to ge the general idea..... mom, death, somewhat otherworldly experience... you can fill in the blanks, I'm sure. I don't want to give the impression that it was scary or terrifying or horrifying.... quite the contrary. It was reassuring, comforting and peaceful. Like my Mom. :x

It was very similar to an experience my Mom said she had after her Poppy had passed on, only mine happened much sooner after the fact than my Mom's did. Both experiences , however, were very quick, but we both knew right away what it was, what it meant, and why it happened when it did.

Some of you might know that I'm a devout Roman Catholic... well, you know now. ;) When people find out I'm religious, they're often surprised that I believe in the paranormal. Not sure why that is.... after all, aren't spirits and angels and demons and heaven and hell and God and the devil outside of our normal world? That's all paranormal really means... something outside of our experience with the mundane things of our everyday existence. Right? ::::shrugging yodacon:::

Anyway, I'm gettin' really busy with Trick-or-Treaters...... :O

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Halloween!!
