I was watching the Empire Strikes Back and a thought occurred to me. How is it that Luke was one of the last people to take off from Hoth, yet they can peacefully cruise to Degobah. Meanwhile Han, Chewie, Leia, and Threepio have to run for their lives against three Star Destroyers and a bunch of TIE fighters?

I guess because Vader just missed the Millennium Falcon that he ordered intensive pursuit of that particular ship. Still, you'd think with the size of the Imperial force there, they'd have some spare resources to catch other fleeing Rebels.

It just doesn't make sense...
