I'm going to a Star Trek convention in Indianapolis on November 26 to do a Lego Robotics demonstration for a contest called Botball. I know nothing about Star Trek!

Can anyone give me some tips on what to do at the convention? Should I wear a Star Wars T-Shirt? How can I easily learn a tiny bit about Star Trek? Will Star Trek fans get mad at me for calling them a "Trekie"?
