Review on Christmas, My Birthday, Gifts etc....

Wow! I never thought I would be on such a long break! Sorry!
It's nice to be back!
Today's subject is Christmas and my Birthday, and pretty much reviews on all of the great SW stuff I got.

I had a really great Christmas and a good Birthday despite having a bit of a cold. I got everything I asked for----- Mace Windu FX lightsaber, Star Wars Complete Visual Dictionary, the SW Tales From Mos Eisley Cantina book, ROTS DVD, and that SW plug in to your TV Lightsaber game from my aunt.

Mace Windu FX Lightsaber- Man, this thing is great!!!! The hilt has awesome detail. It almost looks better than the ones in the movies. The blade is super bright, and very realistic looking. The sound effects are awesome except for the fact that you have to hit it pretty hard for the clashing sound. Overall, I'd give it 5 out of 5 stars. I love it!

Star Wars Complete Visual Dictionary- The quantity of information is really incredible. You can never really get bored of it! There's so much info, you can never no everything! 4 to 5 out of 5 stars if you ask me.

Star Wars Tales From Mos Eisley Cantina- Actually, I haven't read it yet.
Only the first story. I can't exactly give it much of a review being that I only read about 20 pages.

Revenge of the Sith DVD- What kind of a fan am I not owning this? Well, let's not loose sleep over it because now I do. My dad bought a big LCD TV a month ago, and that just made the movie even better! The resolution was amazing.

SW Plug into TV Lightsaber Game Thingy- I looked at the box, and it doesn't actually have much of a name, so I'll just call it that. It's pretty fun. Really. The graphics could use a deal of improvement, but despite that, I like it. I use it a bit, and sort of stink. I always get stuck on level 3 when I have to face Jango Fett. I'd give it a 4 out of 5 star rating.

date Posted: Dec 26, 2006 10:57 AM Yup, those FX lightsabers are real cool...I've got three...Still deciding on whether or not to buy Mace's purple lightsaber. Love the Visual Dictionary too...I use it to help with my blog ideas!! Happy belated Christmas to you!!

me and my friend were to cheep to buy two (but when they are >$100 a piece, do you blame us?) so we went to "Sharper Image" and played with theirs. we got kicked out. it was of teh funzorz.

date Posted: Dec 26, 2006 1:16 PM Cool! We have the Saga trivia game. Wish I had money for one of those lightsabers, though. Personally, I think my hubby would think I was nuts for spending $100 on one lightsaber! If I were to get one, I think it would be Vader's (I like red, OK?? ). vadersgirl33

date Posted: Dec 26, 2006 3:59 PM I have Mace Windu's FX lightsaber. My neighbors fiance gave it to me. But the blade is sort of scratched and my dad needs to get the sound fixed, but i love it. Sounds like you racked in a lot of good things.

date Posted: Dec 26, 2006 6:52 PM The only star wars thing I got for christmas was a Titanium AT-AT walker, which is pretty cool, I've been collecting the titanium vehicles for a while so that was cool. I want one of those FX lightsabers though, there so cool! I would like Obi-Wan's lightsaber. Oh well, Hope you all had a great holiday! -IY

date Posted: Dec 29, 2006 3:34 PM you have to hit it pretty hard for the clashing sound. You actually duel with that thing?? The best dueling lightsabers are the $7 ones at Wal-Mart, they are incredibly durable and well under $70-100 it was of teh funzorz. P00n tose haxxor n00bs!
