Who really was Darth Plagueis the Wise! I will give you some fact I had found, during may studies for enlightment on the History of the Jedi.

There was once a Master Jedi Knight, very Wise and very well respected, even by the Royal Houses of Naboo and Aldeeran. He lead a failed mission to map and make contact outside of the none Galaxy.

Jedi Master Joruus C'baath! His mission Fail and all were listed as missing (if not Dead). FACT; it is known that Joruus had contact with Palpatine even before he was appointed as a senator from Naboo. FACT; Most Dark Lords were, first Jedi Knights or Masters.

Joruus, was well versed in the art of Manipulation, and Royal Ascendancy. He was the Jedi Master that had set the Organa House to the step of Viceroy. He also, was the Master that got Palpatine appointed to the Senate, and advised Senator Palpatine, on matters of Jedi bussiness, until his disappearance.

Now, without knowing about his travels, or mission he had done. It would be hard to prove that he was the Father of Anakin (Darth Vader). Although Master C'baath, was knowledgible of bloodlines, and able to manipulate them. Could he have know that Shmi Skywalker, would give birth to the Choosen One (Anakin Skywalker)? Or! Did he know that Anakin would have a child that would be the Choosen One?
