Humor me for just a minute. I must change the tactics, and the plan the rebel should have used to defeat the 1st Death Star, and changing the course of the Empire, and the Sith forever.
Had the Rebals evacuated Yavin 4, right after the Falcon had landed and Leia told them they were being tracked by the Death Star, and they must evacuate immediately! Finding the tracting beacon on the Falcon and leaving it on Yavin 4. Everone excapes, and attacks the Death Star from behind the Yavin Gas Gaint. While the Death Star fires it laser, and destorys Yavin 4.
Now what NO ONE knew (Felt through the Force), was that on the Planet Yavin 4, was an ancient Sith Lords Academy, with the sleeping spirit of Lord of The Sith Exar Kun, and hiden in orbit around the Near Gas Gaint of Yavin 4 was the Super Weapon the Star Curser.
Now the Death Star fires it Planet Destorying laser and destorys Yavin 4. A gold mine of ancieent Sith knowledge, and the sleeping spirit of Exar Kun would have be destoryed. The Shock wave and blast would have destoryed the Sun Cruser, and Kyp Durron, could not find it and use it any more.
Had the Rebals used this tactic, Darth Vader would have been on the Death Star when it was destoryed(Maybe).
Luke Sykwalker could not use the planet for his new Jedi Academy, and instead opened the Academy on the Planet Datoonie. Where an ancient Jedi Academy was Four thousand years before. Kyp Durron would not have been possesed by Lord Exar Kun, and would not had gone crazy, with the Sun Cruser and destorying an entire planetary system. None of the New Jedi would have known the power of the Dark Side of the Force (only Luke & Mara).
