The Joiner King, History comes Full Circle
Now that the Joiner King Book has been out for a while now, I thought it time to see a Blog about the book. Everyone should have had time to read the book by now?
"The Killiks are tied to the history of the Galaxy in a way we don't understand yet. They were a civilization before the Sith were spawned."

I have been telling you that the history of the Galaxy, and the Jedi, would be coming out. The Killiks, were the subject of the Moss painting that Han and Leia, risk their life to get, because Leia had thought it was a part of Alderaan History. As it turns out it is a picture of the Killiks history! It is a picture of there Home plant of Korriban about to be destoryed. It was destoryed by The Dark Lord of the Sith Exar Kun, and his Apprentice Ulic Qel Droma, and their Sun Cruser weapon, as they exploded the Systems Sun.
Another peice of history, just for your knowledge is that Luke's new Jedi Academy is on the Plant "Ossus". This plant was an ancient Jedi Stronghold. It was a world were the Jedi kept there Treasures and artifacts. The plants surface was seared by the exploding systems Sun. The very same system as the Killiks.
I say that the Jedi and the Killiks are Joined in history, as well as mentally as in the book. That is for Master Luke Skywalker to find out.

Me too! I started rereading The Joiner King yesterday during soccer practice (my son's practice, not mine). So I can catch some of the things I might have missed before.
It might be totally wrong of me, but I can't wait to see what information Luke can extract from R2. It's about time someone wrote about Luke and Leia finding out about their mother. . . . .actually it's about time EVERYONE found out about their mother. But then again, that's just what I think. :) But I am excited about the rest of the book too!

I thought the painting was of the Killiks leaving Alderaan? Wasn't the painting of the Castle Lands?

I love the new warrior jedi it was getting a little boring with all of the pacifest stuff. WARS DO MAKE ONE GREAT!

Also, the Sun Crusher was created by Qwi Xux in the Maw Installation that was created by Tarkin. It didn't get put into Yavin until after Kyp used it to destroy Caridia System and his brother.

I do believe that the Force and the Killiks are connected as well as connected to the galaxy as a whole. They claim to have created Centre Point and the Maw. I am wondering who these Celestials are.

The fall of the Lost Nest has nothing to do with Exar and Ulic, nor indeed the Sun Crusher (as pointed out above, it was made during the trilogy era). And the Killiks lived on Alderaan, not Korriban.

Also, Ossus was devastated during the Sith War, and again has no relation to the Killiks. Yes, their history somehow ties into the history of the galaxy - perhaps something to do with the Rakata or the True Sith - but not in this way.

I may have few points not exactly the way you may see it. "From a certain point of view", If you would research in the Star Wars Database. You would find the facts that I stated. Remember 1 + 1 = 2. Ossus's surface was only seared! and Exar and Ulic stoled some of the Jedi's Treasures and artifacts, and took them back to Yavin 4. Look in the Database under Ulic Qel Droma, and you will find the information about Exar Kun using an insectiod civilations to creat the Maw, and the Super Weapons of the time.

I've read them. You are right, Ossus's surface was seared due to the Sith using their abilities to destroy stars. I also agree that academy moving to Ossus is going to be significant. But I find nothing about Kun or Qel Droma using insectoid species to create the Maw or Superweapons. I actually see no mention of the Maw or SuperWeapons in either entry. Also, Korriban is not destroyed. Korriban is an ancient Sith world. Paply has been there so it had survive at least until ROTS. I would be interested to see where you found this info on the Maw. It obviously is not a natural phenomon.
