I love collecting Star Wars stuff. I don't have that much (used to, purged myself of most posessions a few years ago.) I'm again collecting a ton of Star Wars. Anything, if it's a Star Wars collectible, and I can get my hands on it, I will. Most of my stuff, however, has a story behind it. Whether it's how I got it, or what happened when I had it on me, it's got a story nonetheless. Here's my top 10 collectibles, and the story that goes with them... (not that anyone cares

).
10.
Episode 1 C-3PO head mug
This one was a gift from the mother of a childhood friend. A couple months ago, I sat down in my roommate's big comfy chair, with the mug filled with piping hot coffee (not e big mug at all). After the coffee, I wanted a cigarette, but didn't want to move. So I took the mug and said to myself, "ah, what the hell" and used it as an ashtray. My roommate wasn't too happy about the indoor smoking incident (I regret it now), and to this day, the bottom of the mug has a small round melted spot where I put out the cig.
9.
Count Dooku Electronic Lightsaber
I can't tell you how many eyes I've poked with this one... (not my own).
8.
Count Dooku Lightsaber Pen (cereal box)
There's an old commercial from when AOTC came out, for these pens. It had the army of Jedi charging the battle droid army, and then it showed two kids fighting it out with these pens as if they were full sized lightsabers. I thought it would be pretty funny if I made a fight using the pen, and a full sized lightsaber (sort of a Yoda extreme thing, little vs. big), and had my brother film it. Tried to do the fight, and came to learn it was not possible (or way to hard to do) through getting wacked pretty nice every time the pen failed to defend me, which for it's size, was every time.
7.
Star Wars: The Action Figure Archive (book)
I've never ever looked so hard for any book in my life as this one. I drove around every city in the area, and if there was a store that sold books, I was in there asking about this one. After about a thousand stores, and a thousand "what's that?s" I found a slightly mutilated copy at a 'Books-a-million'. I was never so glad to see a book in my life, never have been since.
6. Star Wars & The Empire Strikes Back CBS FOX VHS
These are the old 80's prints, with the old blue logo and cheesy tune at the very beginning. When I was a kid and we were living in Australia, this was pretty much the only piece of home we had. These were the first tapes I saw Star Wars on, and I've got tons of cool memories of making our own Star Wars toys (lightsabers, etc.). The town we were in was pretty remote, so we didn't get much of that stuff our way.
The next five will be in tomorrow, I promise
