What's up LucasArts?
Hey fellow Star Wars fans! Today I will be talking about a game that I've wanted for a long time, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 3.

I've been wondering alot lately why LA doesn't make a Kotor 3. Kotor 1 was game of the year in 2004, and even though Kotor 2 didn't do as well as 1, it still did great sales wise. Sure, alot of people complained that the ending to Kotor 2 was incomplete and rushed. Those people are right in that the ending was a bit rushed, but I don't think the ending was as bad as alot of people make it out to be. In fact, I liked the ending because it left you wanting more.

Which takes me back to Kotor 3. I know that LA is busy with alot of other games right now, and it is quite a long list of games that they're making. The Force Unleashed, Lego Star Wars 3, Indiana Jones, Lego Indiana Jones, Fracture, Thrillville and Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Sqaudron to be more precise. So I suppose I can understand them not making Kotor 3 right at this moment with all of those games being in production, but they could at least give us a yes or no as to whether or not they plan to make it. I've read the interview with the representitive of LA before, and I know she said that they wouldn't leave the series behind, along with the Battlfront series, but I think us Kotor fans deserve a little more than that.

Back in 2005, a team had already started making Kotor 3, but unfortunately they were laid off. What I would like is to know what the storyline was going to be for it, because they had to of already have a storyline for it if they had already started making it. But thinking about that makes me depressed. Imagine it: we would have Kotor 3 right now if they hadn't been laid off.

I was hoping that this year's E3 would harbor some information for us about Kotor 3, but as you all know, it didn't. We didn't even get any rumours about it out of any of this year's game events, or any other event like them for that matter. Perhaps next year we'll have some information on the game, but for the moment all we can do is sit and play Kotor 1 and 2 a few more times.

So I ask, what's up LA? Why haven't you made a game that alot of people would love? If it's because of the criticism that Kotor 2 got for its rushed ending, then we'll forgive you if you just make Kotor 3. We promise that if you take your time with it and don't rush it, we'll run out and buy it the first day it comes out. Well, at least I will. :p

By the way, I picked the picture above because I would like to once more fly the cool Ebon Hawk into the far reaches of the Unknown Regions.

May the Force be with you all.
