Happy Birthday Star Wars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey fellow Star Wars fans! Tonight I will be blogging about the anniversary of two very special things.

A New Hope came out today! WOOHOO! That's right, 31 years ago the ORIGINAL movie came out that started it all for us nerds and/or geeks! Happy Birthday!!!

Return Of The Jedi, the conclusion to the Original Trilogy, also came out today! So let's wish ROTJ a Happy B-day too!

There two movies hold a special place in all of our hearts, including mine. I became a die hard fan of the series one day about two years ago when I watched ANH three times in one day (plus ESB once!), and because of this I've gotten new friends, experienced wonderful things of the Galaxy Far, Far Away, and explored this wonderful universe.

Today, we also landed on Mars! What better way to celebrate, eh?

So one more time, I just want to say....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STAR WARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This concludes my anniversary blog. I picked the above picture because they're all having a HUGE celebration, which is what we're doing now!

date Posted: May 26, 2008 4:36 AM Today, we also landed on Mars! What better way to celebrate, eh? Yay for the Phoenix probe! You know, watching the NASA TV feed, anxiously tracking the progress of a robot on a desert planet... I felt quite like Leia! Yay for Star Wars!

date Posted: May 26, 2008 10:35 AM Ah, the opening of ROTJ.... I got tickets in advance, took my son out of school early, drove 100 miles to meet my sister and her kid.... stood in line for two hours.... it was a great day!
