Hey fellow Star Wars fans! Today I will be blogging about how I got into Star Wars. Hopefully this'll make up for lost time. We shall see.
It all started two years ago when my mom brought home Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Little did she know, this would in the long run, change my life and some of my interests. I remember I didn't want to try it, and I thought it looked stupid while my brother was playing it.
Wrong.
Well, he got tired of it after awhile, so I was all alone with it. I thought, "What the heck? It is a new game, after all." So, I tried it. At first, I didn't get "The Feeling" (You all know what I'm talking about

), but that was only the beginning. BUT, when I got to Taris, that was another story. As soon as I saw those huge skyscrapers, whooshing speeders and talking people, I was hooked.... on the game. Believe it or not, at that point, I had only just started to realize the greatness of Star Wars. Soooooo........ I played it for a few months, and then when I finished it, I played it again, lol.
Okay, awhile after the above paragraph, I was sitting in the car with my mom and suddenly I said, "You know what? I think I'll watch one of the original Star Wars movies soon." She said okay, and didn't think much of it back then. Probably didn't know as soon as I watched ANH she would be seeing the OT movies every day soon enough!

.
I didn't actually watch any of the OT until a few months after that. One day, I was sitting down, bored, with nothing to do, and ANH was on demand. So, I put it on, having nothing else to watch...... and I was blown away. It was one of the coolest movies I had ever seen, and I hadn't realized it up until that very moment. What was I doing in my life up until then???
So, that night I ended up putting ANH on two times and ESB one time. When I watched ANH, it was my favorite, but after watching ESB, that quickly became my favorite.
By the end of the week, both of my parents and my brother were most definitely burned on it; but not me! I watched the movies every day for like, a month after that.
That was last year. The icing on the cake was when I ended up joining, you guessed it, Starwars.com. Talking to people about Kotor, the Star Wars movies, and everything else is so fun.
Oh, and of course the cherry on top of the cake was joining the
roleplaying site I'm on. It rocks, and as I write this blog, I'm trying to find a theme song for my character.

I even made a
roleplaying site of my own.
So, that's the end of my story (And my rambling). Whew, it's a lengthy blog, eh? I hope you all like it.
I picked the above picture because that's one of my favorite (probably my favorite) scene in ESB.
May the Force be with you all!
