Hey fellow Star Wars fans! Today (or night, on my side of the Earth) I will be blogging about the upcoming game, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Some of these ideas are inspired by the people's thoughts in the
Force Unleashed thread.
First of all, this game is going to rock. No doubt there. But, the reason I really want to put my thoughts on this blog is because I want to express my ideas of a possible plot. Here we go:
All right, I think the entire game should be, of course, The Apprentice hunting down the remaining Jedi. But the thing that has me thinking is the ending. I think a good ending would be for Vader, feeling that The Apprentice has become too powerful, sends him on a mission to Alderaan right before it's destroyed. The Apprentice figures out his plans and doesn't go to Alderaan. But Vader would still think he's dead. Of course, the Apprentice wouldn't go back to Vader; he tried to kill The Apprentice! Another possible choice would be for the Emperor to discover The Apprentice, and order Vader to kill him. Vader could take the easy route and send him to Alderaan, and then the above things would happen.
The Apprentice would have to make a choice: Redemption or damnation?
Let's consider redemption. The Apprentice could either join the Rebellion, or enter the Unknown Regions. Now, if he joined the Rebellion, he would probably have to completely foresake his Force powers and disguise himself so that no one would recognize or feel him. If he traveled into the Unknown Regions, he could form a troop of newly taught Jedi, in hopes of rising up against the Empire.
And now, let's consider damnation. This would be similiar to redemption, in my opinion. I would think that he might travel into the Unknown Regions, and make a new Sith Empire, hoping to defeat the current Empire.
Either of these choices would leave the series open for a sequal, a comic series, or even a book or two.
Well, this is the end of my blog. I picked the above picture because Darth Sion looks like a crispy version of The Apprentice.
May the Force be with you all!
