Saddam: so long
Wow.After all this time, and all America has been through.Wow.If some of you don't know already,Saddam Husein, one of the biggest mass-murderers in recent history, has been tried, and hanged in the early morning
(Iraq time) after a year-long trial. While I know this won't just make the war go away,POOF! like that, but it is a major leap towards the goal of peace in Iraq.Which is a goal I truly hope America can reach. For the good of all are soldiers, and the good of the world. While there are few people I feel deserve to die.....Saddam Husien was at the #2 spot on that list.(#1
will not be revealed, but you most likely have a VERY good idea
who it is.)Feel free to comment,Whether you feel the crime fit the punishment,or that hanging him was a bad idea.

Sidenote:It was said that Saddam appeared weak and broken approching
the noose, but that he choose to leave this world with the small dignity of
seeing his death, leaving off the hood that could have helped suppressed
his fears in favor of a slightly more honorable death.(I feel even he deserved that small honor, though I have no such reservations about #1
who should be brought into a barn and shot like the animal he is.)

I would like to believe that Sadam's maker has let his punisment fit his crimes.

well, my judgment for the death penalty is that whether or not they would be better off dead or alive for the world. I personally think he would have done absolutely no damage spending the rest of his life in a prison.

Another thing is, I wonder if these events will affect the amount of insurgent attacks. I am on vacation so I don't know whats going on, but it could mean hell for people over there.

the death of suddam: wow, it feels good! It's nice to know that the deadliest man since hitler is finally gone and through. I know, John Kerry should be shot! ( I know that's not who you mean but I wouldn't mnid it!)

Its good that one more monster is gone, but to bad it wasn't the real enemy that should have died.

I don't think Saddam's death is going to help any. The invasion of iraq is only going to get harder for America.

Goodbye Saddam you F***ing P****.

Well one thing that kept a few insurgents going is gone.No Saddam,No Motivation.Well at least for a few of them. They are now demorilized and that much closer to defeat.Say if the President got captured and killed. It would either super-charge our resolve,or break our backs.Right now for us it could only strengthen our resolve. But they have a much higher chance of being broken, because he was beloved(by some of the insurgents). Our president is not really feeling the love, but if any one attacked him(aside from Clinton,or Kerry)people would be:
1.Pissed of beyond belief
2.Feeling VERY patriotic
And have feelings of "They attacked us,we blow them back to the stoneage"

I wouldn't shed a tear if Bush was killed, that would be another monster out of this world, a stupid monster but a monster non the less.

They could kill the whole house and still I wouldn't care.
