When Worlds Collide....
Greetings Bloggers!

Last weekend was my first time in Salt Lake City. Jerri and I were treated royally at Mountain-Con II. All the food and Starbucks we could possibly want. I've actually written a mini report on my web site and posted a group shot of the guests. Come and take a peek if you like at:

Be sure to scroll down for the picture.

This is only the second signing I've done this year and I have no more plans for any more. However, when it works out, as this one did, then it sure is fun. We got to see a new city, meet new wonderful friends and hang out with some actors I'd not met before. This is what conventions are really about for me. Genuine people who really care. Even the fans were awesome! Plenty of 501st and Rebels in costume too (I think there's a picture of that somewhere).

Anyway, take a read at my above report. My faith in conventions has been restored :D

This is Mike signing off until next time...

That sounds like a fantastic time!! :)

When you, the actor, can have as much fun as the fans, then it's a great convention!

Thanks for sharing!!! :D

I had some great questions actually which certainly made me think.
See, that wouldn't be me. I usually get stupid when I meet famous people. My question would have been something like, "What's in the coffee cup?" hopefully that wouldn't make you think too hard.... or maybe it would....? Hmmm....

btw - LOVE the hall of shame. I wish I had the stones to do that on my web-site.

great convention review! Makes me even think about trying one again.

And I echo Oboe-Wan's glee at the Hall of Shame, especially the coy remark to the Ohio promoter. Hey, all those stiffing the invited guests - if you don't think we're reading this, you're crazy - the Hall of Shame is as attracting as honey to ants...
