Ahhh, my first attempt at a blog! Bear with me, fellow SW fans. After college, marriage, 2 kids, grad school, a career and numerous health problems (the most recent a brain hemorrhage....eek!) I'm lucky to be alive and kickin', let alone writing a blog, but here goes....maybe a few kindred spirits out there can relate.....

I have definitely re-kindled my love of SW since my two padawans are now old enough to finally appreciate the glory of the saga and all of the underlying themes and lessons. We have even used examples form various episodes to help them through some moral dilemmas! It is something they can relate to, and it has been such a bonding experience for us.

As far as my husband goes, he loves that I am so into SW. He calls it a "cute quirk," and has lovingly sat through re-releases of the original trilogy in the theaters with me. He has also patiently listened as I read other members' blog entries aloud to him - God love him...he has pretty much NO idea what anyone is talking about! I just laugh and say "Oops, sorry...it's a Star Wars thing...you wouldn't understand!"

I'm still looking for a gold bikini, though.....Any ideas where I can get one?



I shall keep this first attempt short and sweet, hoping you will all be back...and in greater numbers!
