You Cannot Stop the Change...
It has been almost a year since Celebration IV. It has been a year since many of us met for the first time and made lasting friendships. It has been a year since we strengthened friendships we already had between us. It has been a year since the L.A. Convention Center was the site for some of the most fantastic memories of my life - memories I will treasure forever.

Wow - a whole year... :O !!

A lot has happened in this past year. Some of us have had babies, others have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a loved one. Others still have had some major changes in their families or lives: some good, some not so good. And yet here we are, still blogging (some of us more than others ;) ), sharing our fandom, our lives and our friendships.

I am overwhelmed at times at the reality of how my life has been enriched and blessed by the connections I have made since entering into the SW community. I have made friends from all over the country. Many are not just acquaintances, mind you, but real friendships that have proven to me time and again that there is good in the world, and that the bonds we have will not easily be broken. I cannot imagine my life without all of you, no matter how big or small a part you have played in my own personal life over the past two years!

Some of you are lucky enough to be heading to NobbyCon this weekend, a reunion of sorts. I wish I could be there with you all, reliving memories and rekindling friendships; celebrating life's triumphs and consoling against life's curveballs. I hope you all have an awesome time together - you'd better blog about it so we can live vicariously through you!!!

Will there be a Celebration V? Rumor has it that yes, there will be, and that it will be in 2009 somewhere in the Midwest - possibly Chicago or a point east. I told my Hubakin that CIV was a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity for me. It was true - at the time. I can't imagine NOT going to another Celebration, especially if its close enough for me. This time I would definitely take my Padawans. They would be 9 and 7...the PERFECT age to enjoy it, remember it, and have fun with their crazy fan-mama!

Thank you to all who have given me the opportunity to meet you, blog with you, Spew with you, laugh with you and cry with you. I wish you all the best life has to offer, and hope that we will be creating many more memories to treasure in the future. lf we have not yet met, I look forward to the opportunity!!

If you would like a trip down memory lane, continue on and click the links...as much as I wish I could include every picture I have, that would be more than 300, so I've just picked out some highlights...enjoy!

The Spew Crew enjoys a lunch together at CIV!

Learning to belly dance like Slave Leia

Gotta love this sign...!

Ahhh, Jabba...

Blogger Meet-and-Greet

Waiting in lines was actually one of my favorite memories...it's all about the journey!

Jediprincess77 blew us away with her Cantina Jam!

Welcoming Anakinside1's baby was such a blast! The blanket that Nob01 and JediMelindaWolf made was incredible! So many of the Crew travelled a long way for this one, and the rest sent their love

SW sleepovers have been one of the best things for my sanity - complete with lightsaber duels and Trivial Pursuit

Getting together with firends - however brief - like Viagoangel2, Senator Sophi-a, Anakinside1 and Padmeskywalker 77, and Amidalooine are times that fill my heart with joy!

May the Force Be With You ALL...always!!
