How to be polite to those with low midichlorian counts.
People love to rip into Star Wars when they know they're in the presence of the "Force Sensitive"

In short, people love to bug star wars geeks, we've all had a poke from someone about it. And for some it can quite enraging, and often we've made matters worse for ourselves by "going to the darkside" and retaliating in various ways.

It was only last night, when I was at a store asking a guy if they sold the "Star Trek" movie boxset and how much it was. (It's a gift!!!) He was a guy who used to rip into me about it in high school. Not a bad person, but let's say he found glee in torturing our kind.

OK he was a bad person.

Anyway, he goes off to check and comes back with the Star Wars Trilogy Box, and off I go:

"No man Star TREK! not Star WARS. What are doing?"
He looked puzzled, and my buddies who are with me start to snicker.
"Jillickers man, you don't want us geeks giving you a hard time! That's like Michael Jackson calling you a weirdo!"

Revenge is a dish best served cold, but if you're going to serve it, why not lace it with some wasabi or something?

My horde of mates thought it prudent at that point to give him a good "Glabening" So the store was filled with the sounds of stereotypical nerd convulsions and exclamations. "NeeHaay Glayven!" etc...

Embarrasment can be a powerful weapon against those who hold their pride a little too tightly. And if your'e one of us and have no need for such "pride", then why not dish it out to those who feel they're better than us?

It makes you feel good!
