Journey to the Heart of Glaben.
Nee-hay Hoyvenn!!

I'm back kids. I've been on a Marlow-esque inner journey that has taken me from the mouth of madness, through the colon of stupidty, down the toilet drain of confusion and back into the sea of geekdom.

I am a changed soul.

My glasses are thicker. My Dungeons and Dragons skills have improved. My comic collection worth has overtaken the worth of the house that contains them.. (to me anyway) and I'm more Glaben than I was before and I've gotta say it feels great.

No doubt some of you have read my geek pride rants in countless of my previous blogs, and you're probably thinking- get to the point jackass! I've read all your geek-glee shenanigans before! But I've gotta say that I've crossed the line. I feel like a Highlander geek now- I can feel the quickening!! (although i have no desire to decapitate all other geeks so I can absorb their life essence- lets get that straight before I'm implicated in some bizarre killing rituals)

I have been absent from here for quite a while, whilst I took this nutbag journey of mine- and thanks to Michelle1968 for reaching out and pulling me back into the synthetic world of starwars.com.

So what exactly was I doing this whole time?

Well lets just say I was like Bruce Wayne in Batman begins- surrounding himself with criminals to understand the criminal mind. Similar with me, but I was delving deep into the geek community and the geek underground. (Yes! there's a geek underground) For many months I rocked and/or rolled all night long amongst my own hoyven kind. Imagine the sounds of the Weeze, the Rentals, Devo, the Rubinoos (the genius behind the theme to Revenge of the Nerds) Speaking of which, most of the time I was decked out in a Tri- Lamb jacket with a guy called booger and a guy called Poindexter.

Nerds got game.

One of the major things that has changed is my tolerance of other insano nutbar people. You can read earlier blogs about the difference between Geeks and Nerds- and you might sense a little of my distancing myself from them.

Now don't get me wrong- there IS a difference, but what's changed is that they're all cool in my book. I understand these people now- and I even managed to get a lot of them to loosen up and have a some scrumdiddlyumptious fun. I even discovered a new found tolerance for fanboys, because after all- there is a potential for them to break out of that eventually with the proper guideance.

Besides, we need all the support in our resistance of jock retardo evil. If I don't give everyone a go, and just take the mickey out of them- then I'm no better than one of those dirty stinking Alpha beta-esque fools.

Anyhoo- I hope my insano rant hasn't freaked everyone out, and no- I'm not the messiah of nerdiness- I'm merely like a religious leader that doesn't touch children!
