That is very interesting. I'm curious what the number would be here in the States.

Okay people, take a deep breath, and repeat after me: It's only a movie, it's only a movie...

:p

These people who think they are real Jedi probably have the same mental condition as those people that read Anne Rice and become vampires.;)

More power to them, that census is no mistake, and why not?
I was interviewed in The Face magazine here in the UK about 6 years ago, and at the time I said "You'd have to be one Ewok short of a fur coat to do that", but now I think - why not? Religion is important to people, and it's a great way to express one's love for the saga.

That's taking it a bit TOO seriously. But to each their own. I wonder how many self-proclaimed Jedi are here in the U.S.???

Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

It was great! And it's about time a group tried to get Jedi recognized! ;) It's been a long time coming.

Nobody is here to stand up for the Jedi? on the official star wars fan club web site?!?!? I am quite surprised.

In a small way I'm interested that anyone would try to make it official, in some small way I desire to see Jedi become an officially recognized religion if for nothing more than seeing the repercussions of such a decision.
But the larger part of me says, "oh, brother!", I mean sure, more power to anyone going for it, but whooo, man maybe too close to reality for my fiction/fantasy.
