Well, the costumes were the best part of the whole movie!

Being just 16 years old, sadly, I've never heard of him. However, seeing what he did makes me feel that he was a really great man.

This is the first I've heard of this. Stan Winston is one of my heroes. I can't believe this.

The galaxy has lost an artisan. How sad.

It's amazing, is it not, how someone we may never have met has touched our lives.

Sad though it is, thank you for the news.

A great loss.. Stan Winston was up there right next to the marvelous talents of ILM and Pixar... I will miss his work...

Don't you ever watch credits? He has worked on god knows how many movies (http://us.imdb.com/name/nm0935644/) and this is very sad news indeed.

This is one of those guys that will get a standing ovation or at least a thunderous applause at the next Oscar ceremony when they show who has passed away the preceding year. And not just for his contributions to film. But for being a good guy.

This is indeed a very sad day. Many of those movies that Stan worked on wanted me to get into the entertainment business. To me he was right up there with Ray Harryhausen and the rest of the greats!
