Hello it has been a while. I had always hoped to find time to keep this at least "regularly" updated, not wild clusters of emails in the span of 24 hours followed by months of inactivity. Eh, sometimes life gets in the way. Today I find myself at home, not work, and feeling kinda silly. I was assembling some shelving for our equipment storage area at work. A screw slipped, and the cordless drill's screwdriver bit plunged straight into the meat of my middle finger on my right hand. It hurt. A lot. Causing a cross-shaped plunge wound a good 1/8 to a 1/4 inch into my finger. I got a paper towel around it with some pressure and it really didn't cause a lot of bleeding. But it hurt. A lot. After sitting down on some stairs to try and stop the drakness from setting in I did eventually black out for a couple of minutes as my body coped with the shock and pain. My caring work mates did the appropriate thing and called campus 911, which brought the campus police and the nearest fire department paramedics. Of course it had been reported that I had actually drilled THROUGH my hand, so they were relieved to see it wasn't so bad. But, they did spend a lot of time checking me over because I was pastey and clamy from the passing out. I have a band-aide on my finger, and it hurts. A lot. But no permanent damage. But it certainly seemed like a large hulla-baloo for a sore finger. Nice to know that people care though. So thanks everyone, and my finger will be fine
