Well, probably some of you have blogged about how you came to starwars.com, and I thought I would throw the experience out there just for the fun of it. In a lot of ways, starwars.com feels like home, and I want to thank everyone here for a pleasurable first three months as a full member.

Oh boy, where should I start? Well probably with the name generator. Yup, that is how I got the name. I had heard from people that you could enter your name in a generator online, and WHAMO, your very own Star Wars name would appear. Well I thought, "What do I have to loose?", maybe a little pride, since I couldn't remember my mom's maiden name, or the last medication I took, but it work out after asking the momma.

I wanted something original, not luke skywalker 59893234058998927. I was so called, 'toying' with my dark side that day, so it came out Jusmc Jecod. I really like the last name, but the first name didn't sound too good, so I said "Hey, why not call it Darth Jecod," I thought it had a nice little jingle to it, and also the fact that the name Jecod reminds me of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide, which I thought was appropriate, since I am still going between the dark and light side. I thought it was pretty rad, and I liked it, and that's the opinion that really mattered to me.

So now I was set to register! My dream had finally come true, being a member of starwars.com was within my grasp. I had gotten about halfway through the registration process, when either the keyboard and mouse broke, or the computer froze right up. My fun would be put off until the next day, since the time was 11:00, and my hopes had just gotten up high, then crashed and burned. So off course I wake up the next day, and instantly sign up, and start posting on the message boards. I had long read all of your blogs, and dreamed of blog myself, and hitting the big time.

Christmas rolled around, and I got a $50 gift card from my relatives, and I knew instantly what it was going to. I was going to become a hyperspace member! So on December 27, 2006 I became a full fledged member, with an avatar, profile, and an insider subscription! Though brookloonieghost has given my a hard time on how my avatar look so serious , I have enjoyed many experiences here, and hope for many more to come!
