"After Star Wars was released, it became apparent that my story - however many films it took to tell - was only one of thousands that could be told about the characters who inhabit its galaxy. But these were not stories that I was destined to tell. Instead they would spring from the imagination of other writers, inspired by the glimpse of a galaxy that Star Wars provided. Today it is an amazing, if unexpected, legacy of Star Wars that so many gifted writers are contributing new stories to the Saga."
―George Lucas
It's hard to believe that it has been about a year for my time here as a hyperspace member. I have been inconsistent at best for the later part of the year, but i assure you my love for Star Wars hasnt been stronger.
Trying to keep up with everthing new in the wonderful world of Star Wars has been a challenge, but reading all of your blogs has kept me on my toes. With late nights watching fan films, reading blog entries, reading the feature article on wookiepedia, or just getting my daily Star Wars fix from theforce.net
With all the activties for Star Wars coming up, it is further proof that Star Wars will never die. It is times like right now that make me exicited to be a proud citizen of this Star Wars community. With Jacen Solo and his dark story, and with video games and tv seris comming up in this next year. Leaving room for more stories, and more room for speculation.
I will admit, I have started to lean more twoard digging deaper into the original trilogy, and mainly the stories inbetween the films. I purchased the novelizations of the movies, and let me just say this for the record...George Lucas writes a mean book, and produces/directs just spectacular movies.
In his quote at the beginning of my blog, Star Wars is a contribution form so many people, and when more than 50 people contribute to a cause, and yet another 500-1,000 are like us, that are constanly asking questions and craving more Star Wars. With that I want to thank all of you for making Star Wars what is is today, and for putting a new twist on things causing me sleepless nights about whether or not Kenobi-fan's interpritation of order 66 was real, but that is a good thing. Thanks for it all, and i hope more of you can cause me stress by totally putting a spin on things i never would have thought about, and thats why I love this place, and long live Star Wars.
