Hey people!!

Saturday was an absolute blast!! I hope everyone (or everyone interested) went out and participated. . .

Saturday morning my brother and I, went and got a friend of ours and we all went to the movies. Guess what we saw? Iron Man (no surprise there ) It was a totally dope movie!!

In the beginning there was a totally unneeded 45 second long sex scene that added absolutely nothing to the movie. They were trying to paint the picture of a brilliant, but rich playboy. They did that fine with the comments he made, but whatever. . .

After that (not spoiling anything) it was really good. The plot was totally on point, and well executed, and Robert Downey Jr. is the perfect Iron Man. I reccomend it for all Marvel loving folk! And that's all I can say without spoiling except to say - STAY AFTER THE CREDITS!!!!!!! Trust me - There's a secret ending there that you'll be upset you didn't stay to see. . . When I saw it I was like "OH MY GOSH!!!!!" Only - it didn't stay in my head like it was supposed to. I said it out loud, really loud in the theatre Most of the people have left though (leaving only the really devoted right?) so it was okay. . . lol

After that I went to a comic book store that wasn't too far away, and unloaded a nice supply of comics from them. Not everything was free, so I bought a couple more in addition to the free ones. I also bought a pack of Marvel cards just for the heck of it!

Then I walked like eight blocks (it was the perfect day for walking) to another comic book store and this one had a much wider selection of free comic books, plus Iron Man posters, click action figure thingies, Iron Man book marks, and other stuff!!! Plus I'm trying to acquire the eleven part comic series "The Sinestro Corps War" and they had a couple I hadn't got yet so I bought them there! Woohoo!! I was (brace yourself) stoked again!! THEN my dad picked us up and we went and got ice cream. When I got home, I got my sisters and we went out to the comic book store near my house!! He had one issue of Cable left (for free) so I took it off his hands for him My sisters got some (I've got them hooked on Star Wars AND Comic Books) and I found a couple other comics I wanted to buy. This was all in one day. It was a good day!
