 | Remains of the Jedi Temple |
After Darth Vader and his clone army ravaged the jedi temple, killing all the jedi with-in, and Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda recalabrated the coded signal sent via the jedi signal beacon, what happened to the jedi temple remains? Did the temple get destroyed by the fire in it, or is it still there. If it's not one of those 2, what happened to it? This is a perplexing matter I need to figure out. Comments are welcome.

Interesting. But what about the housekeeping crew that came in the next day to clean the temple? You think they walked into the temple, saw the bodies lying all over the place and said, "What the f***?!?!?" lol.......I think it was destroyed, as the Sith had no need for a Jedi temple. They weren't going to train anyone, and with Order 66, why keep any remaining Jedi-related themes around. I'm sure Palpatine wanted to send a clear message that the Jedi were no more therefore destroying the temple.

It was not destroyed as it can be seen in the DVD release of Return of the Jedi. They also needed the Temple, for a while anyway, to use as bait to trap any Jedi who were not killed by their clones. Besides, I always thought of Palpatine as the kind of guy who would like to look out his office window every morning and see the symbol of the people he wiped out sitting empty on the horrizon, kind of a giant trophy, if you will. However, it clearly was not destroyed.

Palpatine probably turned it into a palace or something in his arrogance.

It's only in the DVD version. When the statue gets pulled down on Coruscant, look in the background to the left. It's there. It won't be on any of the videos, though.

Joser Kyind, why do they need it when Obi and Yoda recalabrated the coded signal the clones sent?

Wouldn't they figure it out sooner or later?
Thanks for that. I like Commander Gree too. But, I'm still depressed about his fate.
