Last night at work I had some down time, so I pulled out my Star Wars Insider and started to relax and read. While reading I realized that next year is going to be a huge year for Star Wars fans with all kinds of new goodies coming out.

So what do we have to look forward to...

--In the Spring, we have the release of the next gen video game The Force Unleashed. I'm so looking forward to this game and I'll finally have a reason to not sell my PS3 and keep my Wii. This is really one of the coolest things because the game is virtually the next chapter in the Star Wars series taking place between episodes 3 and 4.

--Over the Summer we have the wrap up of the Legacy of the Force series, which books 7 comes out in March, but book 8, the final chapter, comes out in June. This series is clearly one of the best EU book series to have ever come out.

--Then come Fall we have The Clone Wars Animated TV series, which will run through the Television season each week. Not sure what night, nor the network, but I'm going to guess and say Fox.

--That leads right up to the 2009 year which, if rumor has it, Celebration V is to take place. And maybe, the live action TV series, but I'm not sure when that'll be. We can hope for fall 2009, but I'm going to guess fall of 2010.

--Not to mention all the toys and books and goodies that all us collectors will enjoy getting our hands on, as well as stressed out, till we have hunted them down and got them in our collection.

So we have a lot of Star Wars in the next year and a half to look forward to.

A fast note...My last blog was about some prett good tips on those multi day convention runs. I wish I had put them up sooner for other people to read and apply, but I wasn't sure if what I was going to do would even work. Now that I've done it, I can safely say, they were good choices. And I agree with About aSith, bananas are great to eat and cheep.

Also, my Celebration IV stuff came in the mail today. All those goodies I bought and had shipped home arrived without any damage what so ever, so my trip is complete.
