Did Darth Vader know?
The random SW question of the day:

Did Darth Vader know that Palpatine had tried several times to kill Padme? The first time, as Darth Sidious, he tried to off her using the Neimoidians and then Darth Maul. (We know that business about signing the treaty was b.s.)

Then he tried to kill her via the Separatists and Zam Wessell/Jango.

Then he allowed Dooku to try and kill her (and Anakin) in the arena at Geonosis.

Given how sensitive the Dark Lord is about the Padme Issue, do you think he pieced this together at some point and realized his master had been trying to kill the one he loved for so many years?

What do you think he felt? Was it water under the bridge? Or was the wound still raw and painful?

Personally, I think that realization was probably the invisible cornerstone in rebuilding Anakin Skywalker. Without that, Vader would have had further to go in turning away from his master and toward his children (and redemption) once again.
