I ventured out this week on a quest to update my PC. I priced a few good parts at the store and found them cheaper online.

Mobo: ASUS P5N32-SLI Premium

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz

Video card: eVGA 512-P2-N637-AR GeForce 7950GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16

Power supply: Thermaltake Toughpower W0128RU ATX12V/ EPS12V 650W Power Supply 100 - 240 V


I knew it would take me some time to save up the money for the parts, but it turns out that I won't even be able to build this PC unless I rewire my house. Turns out I only have 100A service, and the max load allotted for my bedroom is 20A. The max load assessed by that power supply is 30A.

So, if anyone wants to donate the possible $2-3000 to rewire a home including installing a new breaker box and new meter and to bonus out about another $1800 for the PC parts, I'll gladly take them.
