Random questions.
these are some questions i have recived in my community recently, and i could use some help( i'm considered the biggest SW nerd around where i live)
OK...drumroll please.....
1)what is mace's home planet? ( i havent found a clear answer for this in..... a long time)
2)did mace ever become one with the force?
3)What species is yoda?
4)what is the correct pronunciation of the name of the lizard-horses on Hoth? ( i think its pronounced ton-ton as its name has au, which translates in o.... the full spelling of the name is tauntaun.)
5) what kind of planet is Dantooine? is it forest, ice desert, what ?( for those who dont know what im talking about, Dantooine was the planet that Leia said had the rebel base on it while held prisoner on the Death star)
6) why did C-3P0 have silver plating in Ep II, but switched it to gold in III, IV, V and VI? ( could be a stupidly simple answer, or is there anything....complicated?)(found the answer....never mind)
there will be more coming later. thanks again.
PS .i picked the picture because...well.... it was ....random?i guess?

I haven't a clue to the first, or third. As a guess, I would say that Mace did become one with the Force. On the other hand, he wasn't as in tune with the Force as Yoda, Obi-Wan, etc. He seemed to focus more on saber training than with using the Force. The answer to number four is the "a" sound in the word "father", or at least I think. I'm not sure what you mean by question five, but it appears to be primarily swamp and forest. And the answer to number six can be found in the Animated Clone Wars series. When 3PO came into the service of Padme, she changed the gray plating that Shmi had given him on Tatooine into gold plating. Gold is obviously a more fitting color for personal droids of a senator B-).

mace's home planet was haruun kal. the planet has a bunch of force wielding folks on it. when mace was a baby, his parents were killed out in the wilds or something like that. some jedi were there and wanted to take someone with them to study and train so the korrinai (mace's tribe) gave them a baby mace. some of mace's earliest memories are of how mean old yoda would take his rattle from him and make him use the force to get it back.

I've seen a couple of portrayals of Dantooine in various games. In Star Wars Galaxies, it is mostly plains, hills, and mountains, with some vegetation that is a combination of greens and purples. In Knights of the Old Republic, it is largely depicted as a plains terrain with high grasses and hills.

Nobody knows what Yoda's race is. It has been suggested by some that he is a Whill. However, Lucas won't allow anyone to do the story of his origin.

As for Mace becoming one with the force: the Jedi believed that everyone "transformed" into the force. However, it was Qui-gon that discovered or re-discovered the ability to preserve one's being through the force after death. He passed that knowledge onto Obi-wan and Yoda after his death. So, you shouldn't be seeing any force ghosts of Mace Windu.

1)what is mace's home planet?
Zen Master Moo Moo is right, except Mace's tribe was actually the Windu. The Korunnai are the native people of Haruun Kal. For more info on this, read Shatterpoint. It rocks!

4)what is the correct pronunciation of the name of the lizard-horses on Hoth?
Taun Taun is like "lawn lawn." ;)
