A long time ago in a galaxy far,far away......
a long time ago ( a little more then 10 or so years) in a galaxy far, far away (okay, the U.S.)---------- I was born.
in short today's my birthday!
i was thinking today "I wonder if birthdays are a very big deal in star wars"?
well, as most of you probably know, the biggest B-days for the jedi anyways, are the 1st ( after that point i'm not entirely sure they let you in as a jedi...anakin excluded), and 13th ( at this point if a youngling isnt accepted as a padawan, they are sent to do other jobs around the galaxy such as agri-corps, or in harsher words kicked out)
then i looked at the list and thought of 2 questions; #1)are there any important adult birthdays? #2)do the jedi celebrate any other holidays?
So, blog in short, just wanted to make my own noise about my birthday, and was asking you guys about the holidays.

oh, one more thing, an apology. sorry i keep bugging you guys with stupid questins.when i do that at home.....(it gets ugly):8}

Happy Birthday .... it seems like yesterday when I first saw SW in 1978, I was 9.

Firstly to only dumb question is the one never asked. how do you expoect to learn if you do not ask questions, you'll even learn if you ask too many questions by asking questions lolz.

All i can say is i do not know about any special birthdays for jedi. i am sure there must be something and i am sure some all knowing master jedi will come by to let you know.

I do know next summer will be my 40th and trust me, enjoying SW at 10 years old is very special so enjoy the heck out it and have fun.

First off, Happy Birthday!

I think all birthdays would be important to Jedi, maybe not to celebrate, but to use as a compass of how much has been learned and experienced in the past year.

As for other beings in the galaxy, Wookiees lives a REAL long time, so birthdays might stop meaning as much after you've hit 200.

Happy Birthday!

Given the difference in longevity between all of the species in the Star Wars universe, it is difficult to gauge how important adult birthdays would be across the galaxy. Alas, I have an answer for you not.

Hey, HB2U!

And I can't imagine that Jedi don't celebrate Life Day, no? ;)
