The Blurred Line Between the Darkside and the Sith.
The Darkside..Do it have layers or realms? Like Dante's Inferno..
http://www.gradesaver.com/classicnotes/titles/inferno/fullsumm.html
I mean if you perform one or two darkside acts are you a Sith? Or are you a Jedi using the ends justify the means justification? Or only when it serves you? To you start wearing black and wield a red lightsaber? Or is it a conscience choice to become Sith?
The Seven Deadly Sins and Dante's Inferno come into mind.. on Anakin's journey to Hell. A sin is a sin is a sin or is it a mortal sin that transcends you to the darkside and then the Sith. Is the darkside like not believing "the god" of the time.. or something like the difference between othrodox and protestant teaching and and the Sith is the actual belief and practice of the Sith teaching of the Force (something like Anarachy or Satanic Worship.) Doesn't the Living Force encompass lightside and darkside?
Can you be on the darkside and serve the greater good?
Is Anakin going into the realms of hell to save "his: Jedi, Friends, the Republic, Padme, and the Twins?or is he doing it for Unlimited Power.

Does killing the Tuskens men, women, and children merit the same moral character or heroic act as it does to behead Dooku, assault Windu, assault the Jedi Temple (friends, men, women and children), Separatist leaders, assault Padme, and attempt to kill your best friend and mentor. Is each act justified by the situation, people, and the desired outcome at the time? Anakin is reeling to find a balance between his emotion and reason.

Why doesn't Padme, Windu, Obi Wan Kenobi, Qui Gon, or Yoda help console or mentally decompress Anakin after his emotional and behavioral burst on Tattooine? What huge mistake Palpatine takes an emotionally fragile Anakin and shapes him with mentorship, leadership, and friendship by making him feel important, useful, and worthy as Chancellor's bodyguard and liasion to the Jedi council.. Don't the Jedi see Anakin's potential or do they not understand it?
So is the darkside or dark acts the same as being Sith?
I think not..
What do you guys think?

I think there is more to being a Sith than just using the dark side of the Force. I think there is some kind of mind control involved or maybe some kind of "demonic" possession. Right after Anakin becomes Darth Vader, some of the first words out of his mouth are to echo back what Sidious has just said to him.

The sith were originoally a cult on Korriban, when the dark Jedi came there, they worshipped the dark Jedi. The dark Jedi took on the name and started a new cult.

Ok, I got this one. The Sith are a specific religion including many traditions passed down from the origional Sith species on Korriban. On the other hand, only commiting a 'sin' in the Jedi order does not classify you as a Sith. You may be a Dark Jedi (a Jedi who uses the Dark Side and has because of that been cast out of the order) or you may be a Sith. They are two very seperate entities.

The dark side is in all of us!

The Sith is a concious path of belief and/or training one follows.

If youve ever told a lie (no matter how small it was) in your life, that was the dark side in you (just to make a very easy simple point).

The dark side is in you and you have used it on occasion.

The Sith is a misguided belief in your convictions.
The Jedi is a misguided belief (for different reasons) in your convictions.
