Star Wars TV.. Flashbacks

Star Wars TV..

Elements that the Star Wars TV show (s) will need are FLASHBACKS..

Flashbacks could be used to develop the backgrounds of our favorite characters,,
Anakin
Assault on the Jedi Temple..and Nightmares of all the Jedi he killed.
Confrontation with Padme on Mustafar revisited.. Ani and Padi go on to create a Dictatorship to Rule the Galaxy..
Clone Wars "The Good Ole Days" with Jedi Anakin and Obi Wan
Sith Training with Palps..and the Holocron..
Wookie Enslavement..
Ghosts... Nightmares of Obi Wan and Anakin/Vader//
Emperor Palpatine.. Good Works program..
Jedi Hunt...and Sith Apprentice..
Empire "Aces"..
Clone Trooper.. "Liberation of the Galaxy"..
Clone Commandos..
Bounty Hunters.. Boba and Han..
Yoda in exile..
Ben.. and Luke growing up together..
Bail and Leia... growing up together.. Showing the parallels between the two..
Qui Gon training with Yoda, Kenobi, and Anakin..
What else do we need? Any thoughts?

Well, the ones you've suggested are almost certainly not going to happen, since the characters you mentioned will only have (as far as we know) on passing cameos.

Flashbacks can be effective, but they can also be tedious.

I love the new Battlestar Galactica (c'mon, where's my Season 2.5 DVDs, people!), but there was a run of about 4 episodes in a row that started at one point, went to commercial and came back with the tag of "48 hours earlier" or something like that. This isn't EXACTLY the same as a flashback, but similar, and it got....repetitive....

On one hand flashbacks sound like a good idea, but I don't want it to be like "Lost". Yes, I realize it's a popular series, but I don't want "Star Wars" to copycat other successes. I think some flashbacks would be in order once in awhile. Many of the items you mentioned we could simply see happening for the first time, I don't recall seeing all of them in the films.

date Posted: Jun 24, 2006 2:19 PM We better see a COMPLETE 2nd season on DVD this summer I don't need (or personally WANT) a complete Season 2. I already bought 2.0, and I hate to "double-dip." If they want to release 2.5 AND a complete 2nd, they have my blessing... Sorry to hijack the topic....back to flashbacks...
