Thoughts for games for the Star Wars Wii

Alright.. so we finally bought a Wii! The Wii is really fun to play.

Now you know I always start thinking how can we bring Star Wars to this bad boy?

Lucas Arts has an extensive "Star Wars Classics" Collections..
Everything from Original ESB on Atari, to some of the NES Games could be mini games ala.. (Mariokart, Wario..) Sw Mini Games like Podracing..Cart Racing..
Super Star Wars Saga with all Six Movies... (Kind of like Star Wars Lego but more of an arcade feel.)
NOW here is the good one.. The SW Arcade Game would be awesome..very cool for the Wii.
Tiger had a lightsaber game that could be replicated.. along with a shooter game like BattleFront or Republic Commando.. or even a Shadows of the Empire type game..
You could have Star Wars Miis with the different characters.. create droids, costumize ships and vehicles,, build a lightsaber..You could have lightsaber, blaster, imperial, rebel, Jedi, Sith, skins, and Wookie..
Any flying game Starfighter or Rogue Squadron.. with the steering feature..
the control could be turned for different parts of the game..like a blaster or a saber or a steering wheel..
A Clone Wars Cartoon Network game would be cool along with the new Clone Wars Animated series game would be cool also..

GAME ON SW GAMERS! I am waiting on buying my 360 or PS 3 depending on the Force Unleashed Game...

RojoTrooper, i think the SW Lego game will be pretty cool for the Wii. i thought both of the lego games were pretty sweet for xbox and i think they could easily make a sweet lightsaber game for the wii using the principles of the game. i havent played any wii games so i dont know anything about those other things you mentioned. i love that arcade game too and it would be sweet for Wii all revved up and new.

overall i have a bad feeling about the speed at which new and exciting titles will be released by lucasarts. w/ the force unleashed scheduled for 2/8 i cant see much else coming out that year other than the complete saga lego game this fall. pretty sad really. i was waiting to buy my 360 based on what star wars games would be coming out but i went ahead and took the plunge bc i know that at least the force unleashed will be coming out for the 360.

date Posted: Jun 19, 2007 6:30 AM There must be some SW game coming for the Wii, unless no one over at lucasarts has played a Wii! I would be surprised if the Force Unleashed came out for the Wii. I think that decision was probably made before anyone realized how big it would become.

If you go to http://www.lucasarts.com/games/theforceunleashed/ and near the bottom left it says: Platforms & Developers: Next-Generation Consoles (LucasArts) and the last time I looked Xbox 360, PS3 & Wii were the Next-Generation Consoles so I would be very disappointed and surprised to find out that this wasn't coming for the Wii. Before all the Einstein's out there complain about the graphics not being as good as an Xbox & PS3 we Wii owners figure that it won't be. Sorry, I'm getting tired of all the complaints about graphics because I as a gamer don't care. I would love to see a Lightsaber Wiimote Hilt made and even better one we can customize for our personal tastes, like a Jedi would do.

in my opinion, i dont think the force uleashed will be coming out for the wii just based on what kind of game i think it'll be. i think it'll be a pretty complex and difficult game to play - which is fine by me - but i just have a feeling that it won't really fit w/ what the wii offers. of course i may be way off here and i havent even played any wii games so what do i know. just my 2 cents.
